Getting to Pier 42 is easy and can be arranged on arrival. From Phuket airport you have 2 taxi options.

Option 1: book an airport car from the tour desks in the arrival lounge. This is a airport limousine and will cost THB 800 [Select  Chalong from the list & Tell the driver 'Chalong Pier" or 'Ta Chalong' in Thai]

Option 2: take a metered taxi, exit the arrivals terminal completely and outside in the pickup area you will see a taxi counter on the far right with metered Taxi's parked outside. This will cost approx THB 650. [Tell the driver 'Chalong Pier" or 'Ta Chalong' in Thai]

As you approch Chalong Pier you will see Pier 42 on the right side a few hundred meters before the end of the road.

WHY CHALONG ?

Pier 42 ideally located for travellers who want to spend a night or two in Chalong before heading out to go diving, sailing or taking part in one of the many other water sport activities around Chalong Bay. There are also many boats departing from the pier to nearby islands including Coral Island, Phi Phi Island, and Koh Racha.

Chalong Bay is packed with local businesses speciaizing in scuba diving, snorkelling, yachting, sailing, jet skiing and fishing.
